Jody Karam
I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2019 with Morganelli Properties. In 2023, my real estate career advanced to the level of Associate Broker. After 35 years as a school teacher, I retired from the Bethlehem Area School District in June 2024 and have since focused heavily on the real estate profession. I previously served on Professional Standards Committee and, in 2024, was appointed to the MLS Committee. As an Associate Broker at Morganelli Properties, my responsibilities include new agent training and organizing monthly brokerage meetings with our broker, Heather McFadden.
I am entering my 35th year as a local high school head wrestling coach and will continue as the head coach of Easton High School. During my time at Liberty High School, I founded the LHS Real Estate Club and provided significant fundraising to send seven students to obtain their coursework; two students went on to pass the Pa. licensing exams.
As a husband and father, I reside in Nazareth with my wife, Karen, and two children, Sage (29) and Sydnee (27). I have enjoyed being a part of my son’s IndyCar and NASCAR career, as well as following my daughter’s swimming at the Division I level. As an Easton High School graduate (’83), I went on to study and compete as a Division I wrestler at Lock Haven University. I attained my Master’s Degree from Wilkes. Aside from the professional and athletic accolades, one of my proudest moments came last year when I became a kidney donor to a friend in dire need.
Professional and personal growth through embracing competition has always been a part of my life. The coupling of the professionalism I have honed as an educator, along with the understanding of commitment, sacrifice, and dedication that I have acquired as an athlete, has brought me to the level of a successful real estate agent. Embracing the challenge of becoming a productive member of the Board of Directors of the GLVR is a task that I am excited to approach wholeheartedly.
