The Greater Lehigh Valley REALTORS® membership database – a third-party vendor known as Rapattoni – had been experiencing an extended period of downtime due to its production network being hit with a cyber-attack.

Great progress has been made in restoring services. Learn what services / systems are back in action and where work continues to be done:

New member information requests, new member applications, transfers, terminations, etc., can now be processed.

Workaround: No workaround needed.

The Internet Member Services (IMS) system is used for making online payments, enrolling in classes and registering for events, updating profile information, and more.

Workaround: While the IMS is online again, there is still some quirkiness being worked out, like class and event descriptions not being available. For this information, you can read class descriptions at www.GLVREAcademy.com and event descriptions on the Member Portal.

The Member Portal houses information regarding Supra, Billing, Member Resources, MLS, Government Affairs, Professional Standards, and more.

Workaround: The Member Portal is now available and log-in capabilities restored. No workaround needed.

GLVR utilizes Matrix as its MLS provider. The MLS is not affected by the Rapattoni outage.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy is open and classes are being held.

Workaround: Online registration is now available. No workaround needed.

Status: Encrypted; To date, no evidence that personal information has been impacted.

Per Rapattoni:

Federal law enforcement has been informed and are actively investigating. We are working with our legal counsel and our cyber security specialists to bring this matter to resolution as quickly as possible.

We have received many questions about the security of your data. We want you to know the security of your data is of utmost importance to us. That said, our investigation is ongoing. As a reminder, all sensitive data stored in Rapattoni AMS databases is encrypted. To date, we have no evidence that personal information has been impacted. If it is discovered that any sensitive data is impacted, we will immediately alert you and determine the best course of action.

Any information seen in news articles, outside social media posts, etc., has not been provided to the association by Rapattoni and has not been corroborated by staff. What is posted here was directly provided to the association by Rapattoni.
